Spring time is Flowering Time:
The spring

Everything gets a little easier in spring. The sun shines more often, the grass turns green, the flowers sprout colorfully from the ground and the bees are buzzing. Nature gives us joy, and we should appreciate that much more. The first early bloomers are here and awaken the creativity of our florists. A large proportion of the beautiful flower days fall in the spring season.

Flowers in Spring...

Wonderful when spring begins and a great potential of seasonal flowers awaits us.
The tulip, one of the first early bloomers of the year, is certainly one of the stars of this season.
Which we get from Holland and Switzerland.
But of course ranunculus, freesia and anemone, which are also classic spring flowers, should not be missing.
Of course, daffodils, primroses and hyacinths should not be missing from the spring plants.
The many bright colors and shapes are a feast for the eyes and delight our minds.

Shortly after Spring come the Peonies
The Early Summer...

Early summer is the first phase of summer and for us in floristry the transitional period between spring and summer. Depending on the region, early summer begins at the end of May or beginning of June. It's the time when we say goodbye to early bloomers like tulips and look forward to flowers like peonies.

Flowers in Early Summer...

Now is the peony season from May to June, she is the main player.
In this short intermediate phase we are happy about peonies Kalla, Allium, barnacles and columbines.
Alliums, peonies and columbines in particular are only available in our range for this short time.
Since we work very seasonally and grow some of these flowers ourselves, we only have a few of these early summer flowers weeks on offer.
It's nice that each season has its own colors and shapes, which makes our profession so versatile.

Summer time is Sunflower Time
The Summer...

Now it's getting hot... Grains are being grown and harvested, poppies and cornflowers can be seen in the fields, bees are buzzing around and birds are hatching from their nests.
A beautiful season that produces a great variety of flowers and plants.

Flowers in Summer...

Who doesn't know the classic of the summer?
The sunflower with its strong yellow and its imposing appearance shines in our hearts.
Often sold as a solitary flower, it is also a real eye-catcher when combined with snapdragon, hypericum or levkoia.
Our market bouquets are also in season in summer, the flowers from Swiss nurseries and home-grown are great for a small surprise gift.

The Days are getting shorter and it's getting colder
The Autumn...

The leaves are falling and it's getting cooler, light wafts of mist are drifting through the discolored forests.
A beautiful and colorful season in which florists can let their creativity run free.
Thanks to the large selection of seasonal flowers, berries and workpieces in the autumn season.

Flowers in Autumn...

Autumn brings out a great variety of flowers, making it a popular time of year for florists.
Chrysanthemums and asters are certainly one of the most popular autumn flowers, but the many different types of berries such as rosehip are also eye-catchers in autumn.
The bright red and orange tones are clearly the favorites this season.
The hydrangea or pumpkins are also often used when the leaves are slowly changing color.

Anticipation for the Christmas season
The Winter...

The cold season begins. The snow is falling and one likes to sit in the warm room.
Just the right time of year to bring some color into your home. Drive away the gloomy thoughts and enjoy the candlelight or a colorful bouquet of flowers.

Flowers in Winter

Cool colors are a hallmark of winter.
Pastel tones such as salmon, white or gray-blue tones are often used in the bouquets and flower arrangements.
When it comes to accessories in the bouquets, the gray tones of eucalyptus are chosen or the typical winter green of conifers is used.
Flowers such as thistles, Christmas roses and skimmia are often used in bouquets and arrangements in winter.
