Spring time is Flowering Time:
The spring

Everything gets a little easier in spring. The sun shines more often, the grass turns green, the flowers sprout colorfully from the ground and the bees are buzzing. Nature gives us joy, and we should appreciate that much more. The first early bloomers are here and awaken the creativity of our florists. A large proportion of the beautiful flower days fall in the spring season.

Wonderful when spring begins and a great potential of seasonal flowers awaits us.
The tulip, one of the first early bloomers of the year, is certainly one of the stars of this season.
Which we get from Holland and Switzerland.
But of course ranunculus, freesia and anemone, which are also classic spring flowers, should not be missing.
Of course, daffodils, primroses and hyacinths should not be missing from the spring plants.
The many bright colors and shapes are a feast for the eyes and delight our minds.

The Early Summer...

Early summer is the first phase of summer and for us in floristry the transitional period between spring and summer. Depending on the region, early summer begins at the end of May or beginning of June. It's the time when we say goodbye to early bloomers like tulips and look forward to flowers like peonies.

Now is the peony season from May to June, she is the main player.
In this short intermediate phase we are happy about peonies Kalla, Allium, barnacles and columbines.
Alliums, peonies and columbines in particular are only available in our range for this short time.
Since we work very seasonally and grow some of these flowers ourselves, we only have a few of these early summer flowers weeks on offer.
It's nice that each season has its own colors and shapes, which makes our profession so versatile.

The sunflower with its strong yellow and its imposing appearance shines in our hearts.
Often sold as a solitary flower, it is also a real eye-catcher when combined with snapdragon, hypericum or levkoia.
Our market bouquets are also in season in summer, the flowers from Swiss nurseries and home-grown are great for a small surprise gift.

Autumn brings out a great variety of flowers, making it a popular time of year for florists.
