History of the Zug Cantonal Hospital
The Zug Cantonal Hospital comprises four clinics: the Surgical Clinic, the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology, the Medical Clinic and the Women's Clinic. These focuses are supplemented by anesthesia/intensive care with intensive care, diagnostic and interventional radiology and the interdisciplinary emergency center.
The Zug Cantonal Hospital has been serving the health of the Zug population for over 160 years. More than 1,000 employees, around 180 of whom are in training and further education, work in a wide variety of areas. Every year we treat and care for more than 11,000 inpatients and over 60,000 outpatients. More than 20,000 people are treated every year in the interdisciplinary emergency center.
