Origin:
Kalanchoe (Flaming Cat) is native to Madagascar and other parts of Africa as well as parts of Asia. There are many species and varieties cultivated in different regions of the world.
Growth:
Kalanchoe grows as a compact succulent with fleshy, shiny leaves and can reach a height of 15 to 30 centimeters. Some varieties can also grow taller.
Leaves:
Kalanchoe leaves are fleshy, rounded or oval, and often have a slightly wavy or jagged texture. They can be a variety of colors including green, gray, blue and purple.
